Summary:
Develop, implement, and direct the provision of therapeutic, diagnostic preventative, and patient education of respiratory patient care services.
Responsible for the management and technical direction of Pulmonary Services.
Ensures adherence to Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures.
Patient care assignment may include; Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric age groupsDetailed
Responsibilities:
REPORTS - Maintain a record and analysis of monthly reports from accounting, including services provided, expenses and revenues EQUIPMENT - Ensure that equipment is maintained PLANS - Plan, coordinate, and direct the activities of supervisory, clerical, quality assurance, educational and technical personnel SUPPLIES - Meet with vendors; evaluate equipment and supplies QUALITY ASSURANCE - Maintain quality assurance programs GOALS & POLICIES - Develop and maintain department goals, objectives, policies, procedures, changes and job descriptions COMMITTEES AND MEETINGS - Attend technical and administrative meetings; participate in committee functions; participate in hospital-wide activities and committees within the scope of this position or as directed DEVELOPMENT - Keep current on respiratory therapy and management advances by attending technical and administrative meetings SUPERVISION - Develop efficient organizational structure, supervise employees - select, terminate, train, educate, correct deficiencies, perform appraisals, issue discipline, counsel, schedule work assignments; encourage staff teamwork and growth initiatives BUDGET - Develop and administer the division's annual budget; monitor and approve expenditures PATIENT SAFETY 1 - Follow patient safety-related policies, procedures and protocols PATIENT SAFETY 2 - Demonstrate proactive approach to patient safety by seeking opportunities to improve patient safety through questioning of current policies and processes PATIENT SAFETY 3 - Identify and report/correct environmental conditions and/or situations that may put a patient at undue risk PATIENT SAFETY 4 - Report potential or actual patient safety concerns, medical errors and/or near misses in a timely manner PATIENT SAFETY 5 - Encourage patients to actively participate in their own care by asking questions and reporting treatment or situations that they don't understand or may not seem rightQualificationsEducation:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
